The Basement Watchdog Big Combo is a pre-assembled, energy-efficient ½ HP Cast Iron/Cast Aluminum primary pump combined with the Basement Watchdog Special CONNECT Battery Backup Sump Pump System. With two pumps in your sump pit, you can feel assured that your basement is protected. The Basement Watchdog Combination sump pump system is designed to provide both primary and backup pumping capabilities, ensuring your home is safeguarded against water damage.

The primary pump will operate as long as it is receiving AC power. If the power is interrupted or the water flow exceeds the AC pump's capacity, the backup sump pump will begin pumping automatically. The backup system features unique monitoring features that can diagnose a problem and sound an alarm, with a light on the display panel indicating the cause and the corrective action required.

The Basement Watchdog Combination system is easy to install, requiring little to no plumbing knowledge. It has a compact footprint that can fit in any size sump pit, with a minimum diameter of 12 inches. The system includes a Basement Watchdog AC pump and a Basement Watchdog battery backup system, both pre-assembled for easy installation.

The backup pump has a flow rate of 1730 GPH at 10-feet, while the primary pump can handle 3200 GPH at 10-feet. Batteries and acid are sold separately, as they cannot be shipped and must be purchased locally. The package contains the controller, charger, two dual micro reed float switches, the primary pump, the backup pump, and an instruction manual.

The backup system starts immediately after a loss of power or if the water flow is too great for the AC pump alone.
