The computerized controller of this device is designed to continuously monitor the pump, battery, and power conditions. When certain issues are detected, it will sound an alarm and provide corresponding indications. These include:
- Battery needs water
- Battery is old and needs replacement
- Battery is discharged or defective
- Cable is loose or terminals are corroded
- Power, fuse, or circuit breaker has failed
- Pump has been activated
In emergency situations, the alarm can be silenced, and it will automatically reset after 24 hours. Additionally, the system is programmed to exercise the backup pump once a week to ensure its proper operation.
The remote terminal and new USB port allow for the connection of this device to a home security system, PHCC Pro Series Wifi Module, auto dialer, or other compatible devices. This feature enhances the versatility and integration capabilities of the system.
