The Acquaer 1/2HP Cast Iron Submersible Sewage Pump and Acquaer 3/4HP Cast Iron Submersible Sewage Pump are two of the company's offerings. These pumps are designed to provide great performance, with the 3/4HP model capable of pumping up to 6400 GPH or lifting water up to 29ft vertically, making them perfect for residential sewage systems.
The pumps feature an oil-filled split capacitor motor with high flow, allowing them to work in harsh environments and offer a long service life. However, they are prohibited for use in septic tanks.
Both pumps offer auto/manual operation, with an adjustable mechanical float switch that automatically turns the pump on and off depending on the water level in the sump basin or septic pit. The standard 10' power cords with piggy-back plugs enable automatic operation of these electric sewage pumps.
The pumps are designed to be durable and clog-resistant, with a rugged cast iron casing, reinforced engineered non-clogging vortex impeller, and a 2'' NPT discharge capable of passing 2" diameter solids. As waterproof effluent pumps, they are ideal for basements or below-grade installations.
To protect the motors from overheating and burning, the pumps are equipped with built-in automatic thermal overload protection. They will shut off automatically when dry running to prevent damage to the motor. Before startup, the pumps must be fully immersed, and they should be prevented from freezing in cold winters.
